Head Dispatcher, Auto Logistics

Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Oversee and manage a team of dispatchers, ensuring smooth operations and optimal performance.
- Operational Coordination: Ensure effective coordination of client transport support, working with drivers, transport modes, and equipment.
- Training & Mentorship: Provide training and support to new and existing team members, promoting continuous improvement.
- Performance Management: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and perform quality controls to ensure service excellence.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement operational objectives to improve efficiency and optimize workflow.
- Problem-Solving: Address and resolve complex operational challenges with a sense of urgency.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Act as a liaison between operations and sales teams to ensure smooth communication and coordination.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, maintain documentation, and generate necessary reports.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in automotive logistics and at least 3 years in operations or project management.
- Leadership Skills: Proven track record of leading teams effectively and independently.
- Software Proficiency: Strong experience with CRM software, Microsoft Excel, and other operational tools (e.g., Monday.com, G-suite).
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with transport modes, drivers, and DOT regulations.
- Organizational Skills: Outstanding organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to tackle complex challenges and implement solutions in a timely manner.
