Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. As an Automotive Service Advisor, you will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction by handling service requests, providing repair estimates, and maintaining strong customer relationships. You will be responsible for identifying automotive problems, providing accurate repair advice, and overseeing vehicle services from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise customers on necessary services for routine maintenance and repairs.
• Identify mechanical issues by questioning the customer or conducting a visual inspection or road test.
• Perform automobile inspections and review vehicle maintenance records.
• Prepare and present detailed repair estimates, including time, cost, and labor.
• Explain repair procedures and charges to customers, ensuring their understanding and approval.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and resolve any issues to maintain satisfaction.
• Verify warranty and service contract coverage for applicable services.
• Maintain detailed records of service work, including problems identified and actions taken.
• Stay updated on industry trends by participating in educational opportunities and reading manufacturers’ publications.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong problem-solving abilities and mechanical knowledge.
• Excellent communication skills and active listening.
• Proficient in using computers and service writing tools.
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to follow up effectively.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Experience in automotive service writing and customer relations is highly preferred.

Job Requirements:

• Full-time availability with occasional weekends as needed.
• In-person work at the Fort Lauderdale location.
• Ability to relocate to the Fort Lauderdale area (if not local).
