Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Aviation Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in aviation logistics, shipping and receiving, and hold relevant certifications, including Forklift and Dangerous Goods (DG) certifications. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient handling and processing of shipments within the aviation industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Shipping & Receiving Operations: Handle all incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring they are accurately documented, inspected, and processed in accordance with aviation standards.
• Aviation Compliance: Ensure all shipments comply with aviation industry regulations, including handling Dangerous Goods (DG) shipments and maintaining proper documentation.
• Inventory Management: Assist in the organization and maintenance of inventory, ensuring all items are properly stored and accessible for quick retrieval.
• Forklift Operation: Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport goods within the facility.
• Documentation & Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all shipments, shipments statuses, and delivery confirmations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in aviation shipping and receiving or a similar logistics role.
• Forklift certification is required.
• CompTIA A+ certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of Dangerous Goods (DG) handling and shipping regulations is preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
