Business Development Representative – Full-Time, Contract

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Business Development Representative to join a dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and cultivating new client relationships with referral sources, insurance companies, and healthcare providers, driving business growth and admissions for treatment programs. You will also maintain strong relationships with existing partners to ensure consistent patient flow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation and Prospecting:
    Actively identify and research potential referral sources, such as healthcare providers, insurance companies, social service agencies, and community organizations. Develop and implement strategies for outreach to establish relationships and secure referral agreements.
  • Relationship Management:
    Manage and nurture ongoing relationships with existing referral sources, ensuring satisfaction and meeting their needs. Organize regular meetings with partners to showcase success stories and clinical expertise, addressing any concerns effectively.
  • Sales and Marketing:
    Execute targeted marketing campaigns and collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials. Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network and promote services to potential referral sources.
  • Admission Process/Discharge:
    Collaborate with the admissions team to ensure a smooth transition for clients from initial contact to admission and discharge. Provide accurate information about treatment programs to potential clients and partners.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
    Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze data to improve business development strategies. Provide regular reports to leadership on sales performance and development activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in healthcare sales, particularly in the addiction treatment industry.
  • Strong knowledge of the healthcare landscape, including insurance regulations and referral networks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building rapport with clients and referral sources.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills to convey the value of treatment programs.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of leads and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
  • Proficiency with CRM/EMR software and data analysis tools.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
